Everything You Need To Know
WE GOT ANSWERS
Skin that takes a beating. Mat rub, helmet rub, gaming headset irritation, dry winter hands, cracked knuckles, wind and everyday friction. Basically, the places that work as hard as you do.
Apply a thin layer to clean skin after training, after work, or whenever your skin needs some attention.
Like butter, in the best possible way. Smooth, creamy and fast-absorbing without the greasy film Riyaz hated about other balms.
The O.G. scent is harder to explain. It isn’t mint. It isn’t lavender. It definitely doesn’t smell like the bottom of Grandma’s purse.
Nobody has managed to name it yet, so we’re planning a contest to do exactly that. If you find the word we’ve been looking for, you might get the credit.
Start with O.G. It’s the original, made with the sensitive skin on your face in mind, and perfectly happy everywhere else too. Bright green, mystery scent, everyday.
Black Belt leans body. It’s dark, subtly scented and made for the places that tend to take more punishment, like elbows, knees and hands.
Not sure? O.G. is your starting point.
Same core formula, different ratio.
The 42 g jar is softer, easy to scoop and great when you’re covering a larger area. The 15 g stick is blended firmer so you can swipe it on and throw it straight back in your gym bag.
Jar for scooping. Stick for grabbing and going.
It depends how often you reach for it and how much ground you’re covering, but with regular targeted use, a 42 g jar can last around 1 to 3 months.
And seriously, start small. You need less than you think.
That’s exactly what O.G. Balm was formulated for.
Use a small amount on clean skin, morning, night or whenever you need it. It absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy greasy film.
As with any new skincare product, patch test first if your skin is particularly sensitive.
Riyaz was 10 when he made O.G. Balm and uses it himself.
Our balms do contain essential oils, though, so we recommend adult supervision and a patch test before first use. For very young children or children with known sensitivities or allergies, check with a healthcare professional first.
Our formulas contain plant oils, butters, beeswax and essential oils.
If you have allergies or sensitive skin, read the full ingredient list on the product page before using and patch test a small area first.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Yep. It’s actually black.
The colour comes from mineral-based pigments, but it doesn’t stain your skin. Work a small amount in and the colour disappears as the balm absorbs.
It can transfer a little during application, so give it a moment before pulling your favourite white shirt over your head.
Don’t Get Lippy comes in three:
Soft Knockout: Rose + Vanilla
Fresh Tap: Lime + Mint
Combo Fuel: Orange + Vanilla
Each tube is 5 g, and yes, we’re already working on more ways to get your hands on them.
The balms are built around ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, calendula and hemp seed oil, along with essential oils and mineral-based colour.
Don’t Get Lippy keeps things even simpler with beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil and its individual scent blend.
No parabens. No sulfates. No synthetic fragrance.
Check each product page for its complete ingredient list.
Because we make this stuff in small batches, not by the tanker truck.
Natural ingredients can vary slightly in colour, scent and texture from batch to batch. Small variations are completely normal and part of making products this way.
It can.
These formulas are made with natural oils, butters and beeswax, and extreme heat can soften or melt them.
A normal gym bag is fine. A roasting hot car in August? We’d bring it inside.
If your balm does soften, keep it upright and let it return to room temperature. Store somewhere cool and dry and keep it out of direct sunlight.
For best quality, use within 12 months of opening and store somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
If the smell, colour or texture changes significantly, it’s time for a fresh one.
No.

Riyaz does, with grown-up backup.
He started Fix Yo Face at 10 years old as a homeschooling project after getting tired of skincare he didn’t actually want to use.
He’s 11 now, trains jiu jitsu and MMA, develops and tests the products, and sold his first jars face to face at his own academy.
The products are made in small batches in Surrey, BC, with adults handling the safety, compliance, operations and other boring grown-up stuff.
